What makes up a Creative Brainstorm & Idea session? A creative brainstorm session comes in essentially 3 parts: (1) Product Research, in your target product markets; (2) A Creative Brainstorm & Idea Session, which consists of a group of qualified professionals, yourself included, familiar with the current markets that your possible product will be promoted to. In these sessions, current market research is presented, and the professionals spend either 1/2 day or a full day coming up with as many viable ideas that are possible in the time allotted. (3) After the brainstorm session Concept Sketches are created by our Concept Artists to represent the best ideas that came out of the session. These concept sketches can be used as the basis to create Presentation Art or to go directly into Product Feasablity Testing .
How are 3-D Product Concept Renderings presented? Using sophisticated software programs such as Strata 3D CX, auto•des•sys FormZ and Radiozity your 2D concept will be rendered digitally in three dimensions, allowing it to be viewed on all sides, as well as top and bottom. Having your product created in a 3D program will allow you to give sophisticated presentations of your product idea before getting involved in the expensive model making process.
What are B-Sheets? An engineering term for a more detailed rendering than an A-Sheet. An A – Sheet is a very rough concept sketch of a 3D product. A B-Sheet is a much tighter sketch of a product showing the product from at least 3 views and often including colors and PMS color specifications. After the B-Sheet, the sketch is made into a “control drawing” or a CAD drawing with exact measurements from all views. Both B-Sheets and control or CAD drawings are needed as information to make a final model of the 3D product.
