What is the difference between the graphics that are found on products or services that people never notice, and those found on the products and services that customers reach for time and time again? Nine times out of ten that difference has to do with the Creative Direction. The job of a Creative Director is to create the visuals and ambience around a product or service to make it recognizable any place, at any time. The Creative Director breaths life into a service or product by endowing it with it’s own personality. With just the right color, type, photography or illustration the perfect mood is created to attract interest from the targeted customer. The Creative Director is responsible for creating a product or service “style guide”, and has the task of ensuring that the product retains the same graphic “personality” throughout all future forms of promotion. These forms of promotion include: Collateral Promotion, Package Design, Web Design, Infomercials or TV Commercials.
